There are only two running backs on the Dallas Cowboys 53-man roster in Ezekiel Elliott and Rod Smith. So far that hasn’t been an issue, but it’s always nice to be prepared.
Once upon a time the Cowboys had the other runner that was drafted in Ezekiel Elliott’s class on their active roster, Darius Jackson. There’s been a lot of action with Jackson over the last few years including the fact that he was with the team in training camp and even made the practice squad.
Unfortunately for true Radius supporters he was poached by the Green Bay Packers and added to their 53-man squad. With Aaron Jones having returned from suspension the Packers have moved on to a degree and Jackson was once again available. He’s coming home, friends.

Zeke looked to get a little tired during the loss in Houston, but Rod Smith would be the next man up if the Cowboys ever had to give someone else legitimate carries. Whatever the case, it’s nice to have someone back who we know the Cowboys like and who has familiarity with how they do things.
Radius once, Radius always.
