The Dallas Cowboys play on Thursday this week which means in some senses Tuesday is like their Friday as it’s two days before. Fridays are typically when roster moves happen and this pseudo Friday is no different.
Dallas had been shallow in the middle of the defensive line due to injury so they’d elevated Christian Ringo to get by. With Antwaun Woods looking like he’ll play they no longer need a surplus there and have moved on from Ringo. They’ve brought back Darian Thompson in that spot.
The Cowboys have released DT Christian Ringo and re-signed DB Darian Thompson to the active roster. Last week, they had to release Thompson to promote Ringo from the practice squad to help with DL depth in Sunday's win at Atlanta.

Short weeks are never easy ones for NFL teams and the Cowboys are no different. The latest injury report had Adam Redmond added but at least the defensive tackle position does look to be getting back some strength.
It’s going to take a serious effort from the defensive line this Thursday against the Washington Redskins if the Cowboys want to win (spoiler, they do). Fingers crossed they are indeed healthy and ready for the challenge.
