A short week is drawing to a close for the Dallas Cowboys as they prepare for their annual Thanksgiving Day game. This one is a big deal, as the winner of their contest against Washington will be in the driver’s seat in the NFC East (at least until Dallas’ next game against the New Orleans Saints the following Thursday). And as has become the norm for the Cowboys, there are a lot of names on the injury report - and Washington is much the same.

In addition to Taco Charlton, Antwaun Woods, and Daniel Ross, mentioned by Helman, Tyron Smith and Zack Martin are also expected to start, and Michael Gallup will be on the field as well after his family tragedy before returning to Georgia after the game.

Connor Williams looks to be available, but Xavier Su’a-Filo is slated to start at left guard.

As shown, Washington has only ruled out one player, running back Chris Thompson, and Adrian Peterson is expected to play. But they are already dealing with a lot of players that have been lost to IR, including five offensive linemen. And of course, Colt McCoy is starting in place of Alex Smith, who broke his leg last week. The matchup between the Dallas defensive front seven, which is getting some key names back, and the battered Washington line plus McCoy and Peterson is one of the things to watch in the game.
