Not a lot needs to be said to hype this game up. Two traditional rivals meeting on Thanksgiving Day with the lead in the NFC East up for grabs? That’s the kind of game we like. The Cowboys have dug themselves out of a hole and now have a chance to place themselves firmly in the playoff lane. A win on Thursday would, based on the tie-breaker formula, put them in the lead of the NFC East.
The changes made over the bye week by the Cowboys are paying dividends and the offense looks a lot more competent now. Pair that with a defense that is handling its business and you have a team with some potential. We’ll get to see just how much potential they have on Thursday when the NFC East lead will be available.
