Just before the Cowboys kicked off on Monday Night Football with an old friend in town with Jason Witten (watch his tribute video here) a report surfaced about a different past player. Dez Bryant is going to work out with the New Orleans Saints on Tuesday.
The #Saints have been evaluating Dez Bryant’s tape since his release. I’m told the consensus all along was Bryant still had something but they have always maintained it would have to make sense and be the right fit. Thomas is and will continue to be their top of mind receiver. https://t.co/ckmZEzOYnY

The Saints just defeated the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday and look to be one of the top teams in the NFL. They already have a stud wide receiver in Michael Thomas, but you know what they say, the more the merrier.
Dallas hosts New Orleans on Thursday Night Football a week after they play the Washington Redskins on Thanksgiving. It was that same game on TNF a year ago, coincidentally against Washington, when Dez Bryant set the franchise record for most receiving touchdowns. If he were to join the New Orleans Saints he would be returning almost one year to the day.
It’s going to be an interesting week.
