The Dallas Cowboys got their Wednesday off to a bad bit of news when it was reported that left guard Connor Williams is going to miss some time thanks to a knee scope. He isn’t the only starter that’s expected to be sidelined. The Dallas Morning News is reporting that Sean Lee is going to miss 4-6 weeks with the hamstring injury he suffered Monday night.

Lee has only suited up for five of the eight games the Cowboys have played this season. Missing a month to a month and a half could make that number double digits rather quickly. Their upcoming games aren’t easy and won’t be made easier missing The General:
- at Philadelphia Eagles
- at Atlanta Falcons
- Washington Redskins (Thanksgiving)
- New Orleans Saints (Dez Bryant’s return)
- Philadelphia Eagles
- at Indianapolis Colts
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- at New York Giants
The Cowboys drafted Leighton Vander Esch partly to hedge their Sean Lee bet. The rookie is going to be more valuable than ever over the season’s most critical stretch. You know what they say, when it rains it pours.
