In good news for the Dallas Cowboys, left tackle Tyron Smith was able to return to practice today on a limited basis. The star offensive lineman has been out for two weeks with a stinger issue, leading to a fill-in job for Cam Fleming. This week, maybe Smith returns to his normal position.

In other practice news, Chidobe Awuzie missed today’s practice because of an illness. Also missing were Sean Lee, Tavon Austin, Geoff Swaim and David Irving. There was talk about Lee returning for this game, but so far it doesn’t look good as he misses another practice.
Cole Beasley was able to practice, although he was listed as limited. Beasley made the point that if the game was today, he would have played. So it’s a pretty good bet he is playing this week unless there is a setback.

Also, Xavier Su’a-Filo is listed as limited today, although it’s been reported that the Cowboys will stick with him for this game instead of going back to a healthy Connor Williams.
The Cowboys will stick with LG Xavier Su'a-Filo as the starter again this week even though rookie OL Connor Williams is healthy and ready to play.
