While the Cowboys have not been the most active team during this free agency period, things may change soon.
ESPN’s Josina Anderson is reporting that free agent wide receiver Allen Hurns will visit the Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday. Anderson says that the former Jacksonville Jaguars wideout was scheduled to visit the Jets, but incoming snow has given him a change of plans.
UPDATE: I’m told WR Allen Hurns is now scheduled to visit the #Cowboys Wednesday morning with snow on its way to NYC. https://t.co/AoxM7MfpEq

Hurns, 26, is entering his fifth season in the NFL. Following a collegiate career with the Miami Hurricanes, Hurns signed with the Jags in 2014 as an undrafted free agent. The Miami native has turned into a solid wide receiver and will likely have plenty of suitors now that he is free to sign with who he wants.
We opined on the possible addition of Hurns earlier today.
In 2017, Hurns caught 39 passes for 484 yards and two scores, but his big season was in 2015 where he grabbed 64 passes for 1,034 yards and ten scores. Hurns has the potential to be a playmaker for the Cowboys, a team that was reportedly interested in both Sammy Watkins and fellow former Jags receiver Allen Robinson.
