The Dallas Cowboys are scheduled to play four preseason games in 2018, unlike last year when they played in the Hall of Fame game and were scheduled to play five. The last one against the Texans was cancelled due to Hurricane Harvey. Today we learned who the opponents will be in 2018, and the approximate dates the games will be played.
Here is their preseason schedule.
WEEK 1: AUGUST 9-13
Dallas Cowboys at San Francisco 49ers
WEEK 2: AUGUST 16-20
Cincinnati Bengals at Dallas Cowboys
WEEK 3: AUGUST 23-26
Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys (NBC, 8/26 8:00 PM EST)
WEEK 4: AUGUST 30-31
Dallas Cowboys at Houston Texans
Looks like the Cowboys will take on the 49ers while out at Oxnard at training camp. They follow up with a couple of home games against the Bengals and the Cardinals, with the latter one on NBC. They close out with a make-up game of sorts for last year’s canceled preseason finale against the Texans.
For those who have forgotten, here are the Cowboys regular-season opponents for 2018.
Home: New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tennessee Titans
Away: New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Seattle Seahawks
