Today is the day when we are supposed to get some clarity on Dez Bryant’s future with the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys front office has been talking about meeting with Dez to discuss his contract for a couple of months, and today it is happening according to reports. According to Adam Schefter and Todd Archer, the plan is to release him.
Cowboys expected to release WR Dev Bryant today, barring an unexpected last-minute change of heart, per @toddarcher and me. But the plan going into meeting that is now underway was to part ways with Bryant.

Dez is already in the building.

No matter where you lean in the Dez Saga, keep him, cut him, change his contract or whatever, it would be nice to have some kind of resolution. This morning Todd Archer did a nice job of laying out the different routes this all could take.
Maybe the two sides work out some kind of paycut to keep Dez, but it really is starting to feel like they are going to part ways. We’ll continue to cover the story today as it moves toward its conclusion.
