It’s a good bet the Cowboys draft pick at #19 will come from this list of players

The final list of 30 pre-draft visitors for the Dallas Cowboys.

NFL: Indianapolis Colts at Dallas Cowboys Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

The 30 pre-draft visitors for the Dallas Cowboys are in. Every year teams are allowed 30 visits from player before the draft that are a meet-and-greet that allows the team to get a feel for that player. As we’ve noted many times before, the Cowboys generally make their first selection in the draft from this group of 30 players. Only the trade-up for Morris Claiborne broke that string in recent years.

Cowboys observers can whittle that list down even further as some of the names on the 30 pre-draft visitor list aren’t really first-round material.

Here is the full list:

The Cowboys list is heavy on defensive linemen and wide receivers, followed by offensive line, linebacker and safety.

A closer examination shows that they have three defensive tackles projected to go in the first round, with three wide receivers also with a first round projection. Close behind that are two offensive linemen and two linebackers with first-round projections. It should be an indication of what they’re thinking heading into day one of the draft.

Interestingly, the Cowboys have also looked at two defensive tackles for the second round, so it really does seem like they are contemplating attacking that position early in the draft. With the wide receivers, they only have one player with a second round grade, then there is a big drop off.

The Cowboys have brought in four safeties but they are all projected to go on day three of the draft.

One big caveat to this, some guys they had in for Dallas Day or private workouts and their names have been closely associated with the Cowboys. This includes guards like Will Hernandez, Austin Corbett, Connor Williams (who could kick inside from tackle). They’ve also looked at receivers like Christian Kirk and D.J. Chark. Those are all guys who could go in the first or second round.

Here are all the players we know of that worked out for the Cowboys on Dallas Day:
