The second round is over and we are half way through Day 2. There are still several great players available. Before we start looking at third round targets, here is a recap of round two:

Things started off bad for Cowboys fans holding their breath for an offensive lineman as Austin Corbett and fan-favorite Will Hernandez came off the board with the first two picks of the second round, with Braden Smith following shortly behind them. Four picks into the second round, three OL were gone. But those OL faithfuls were rewarded for their patience when the Cowboys selected Connor Williams with the 50th pick.
Both Courtland Sutton and Christian Kirk were taken before the Cowboys were on the clock. And after the Cowboys picked at 50, there was a run on them as Anthony Miller, James Washington, and D.J. Chark came off the board.
The Philadelphia Eagles are so infatuated with all things Dallas that they had to trade up to get a tight end named Dallas.
Derrius Guice finally came off the board when the Washington Redskins selected him at 59. That’s great value. The running back group in the NFC East just got a whole lot better this weekend.
The Green Bay Packers drafted another great cornerback Joshua Jackson, who will pair nicely with Jaire Alexander.
Here are the best picks available according to the BTB big board (BTB rank in gray):

Clearly something is going on with Maurice Hurst as many teams must’ve taken him off their boards.
There are some good safety options left. I’d love to have Justin Reid or Tarvarius Moore.
There are also some good defensive tackle positions with Harrison Phillips, Tim Settle, and Nathan Shephard.
Or could the Cowboys look to replace Jason Witten with Mark Andrews or Ian Thomas?
Which player are you hoping for in round three?
