The Dallas Cowboys were interested in a reunion with their former defensive tackle, Terrell McClain. And given the recent news that they’re losing one of their main defensive tackles, Maliek Collins, for most of the offseason (in a best case scenario), it seemed to make a lot of sense. Unfortunately, it’s not going to happen.
DT Terrell McClain has agreed to terms with the #Falcons, per league source. Will instantly help impact the D-Line.

McClain had many teams interested, including the Miami Dolphins and the San Francisco 49ers, along with Dallas and Atlanta. In cases like this, we’ll need to see what the terms of the deal were, but it’s likely the Cowboys had an amount in mind and McClain was able to get more from the Falcons.
McClain seemed like the perfect answer to the starter/depth issue for the Cowboys at the 1-tech position, especially in light of the Collins’ news. There are other players they could still go after in free agency, so the quest is not over. But the return of the “Dancing Bear” is not going to happen.
