Details, photos, and video from Terrance Williams’ arrest have surfaced

There’s a lot to digest with the Cowboys receiver's recent mess.

Early last Saturday morning Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrance Williams was arrested on public intoxication charges. Williams allegedly crashed his car into a light pole and fled the scene.

Later Saturday evening he released a statement offering his explanation.

On Thursday, TMZ Sports released photos, video, and context on the situation from Frisco PD arresting Terrance.

When cops were grilling Williams about the accident, he said he wasn’t the driver, according to the police report ... and blamed the crash on an “idiot” friend Kendall Wright.

According to the police report, Terrance said Kendall left the crash scene and went to a club -- but called Terrance to let him know where to find the car.

Cops didn’t believe Terrance ... because Williams’ cell phone was actually inside the Lamobo.

Plus, cops say they found the key to the vehicle in Terrance’s pocket when they searched him.

Here is the video, it contains some NSFW language.

According to the report, Terrance blamed the crash on his friend Kendall Wright. This is the same Kendall Wright that plays wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings. Wright and Terrance are both Baylor alum.

Details from TMZ’s report contradict Terrance’s statement, and even then details from within the report show that Terrance contradicted physical evidence on the night of the arrest.

Part of the police report is below.

Warning, it contains some offensive language.

Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett spoke briefly about Terrance before Wednesday’s OTAs. Garrett noted that he’d spoken with Terrance and acknowledged the broken foot the receiver suffered earlier this offseason, something Terrance is still rehabbing.

Whether the NFL steps in at some point is still a possibility.
