Finally! After waiting over a year for the news, the Cowboys and All-Pro guard Zack Martin have agreed to terms on a six-year contract extension making him the highest-paid guard in the NFL, according to Ian Rapoport.

The Cowboys and Zack Martin's party have been working on a deal since last offseason and the two sides finally came to an agreement today to make him the highest-paid offensive guard in the NFL. The details of the contract have yet to come out, but for now we know that it is a six-year deal, with the largest guaranteed money at his position in NFL history.

The two-time All-Pro, and four-time Pro Bowler will enter his fifth year with the team this season and will be on the field for mandatory minicamp that begins tomorrow. This is excellent news for both the Dallas Cowboys and Zack Martin, who has been one of the best offensive lineman in the NFL since being drafted with the 16th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. The Cowboys need Martin in order to return to dominant form along the line, and Martin wanted to end his career wearing a star. Now, it seems as if both sides will get their wish.
