The NFL never sleeps, but June is the month with the least football action going on. It’s typically when players, coaches, and front office executives like to vacation.
The Dallas Cowboys are obviously no exception, and they seem to have gone fishing... literally. Various members of the team’s leadership council took a fishing trip over the weekend in Key West.

In the first photo you can see (left to right) La’el Collins, Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, Tyron Smith, and Jeff Heath. For whatever reason Travis Frederick wasn’t in that photo, but he was on the trip (as seen in the following photos).
The internet first learned of this Cowboys fishing trip on Friday when Zeke announced it on his own Instagram account. He then playfully posted videos of his teammates sleeping on the private jet they were taking. What a sentence that is.

We learned from Amazon’s “All or Nothing” and from the goodbye letter the team collectively penned to Jason Witten who the exact members of the team’s leadership council are. All of the players on the trip comprise part of the council.
It’s great to see the Cowboys enjoying life together off of the football field. These are when relationships are fostered and strengthened. Hopefully they had a great time.
