We’re now close enough to the start of the season that we can start making some predictions about how the 2018 season will go for our Dallas Cowboys. Rather than asking you to make your predictions in the comments we’ll instead direct you to click the following form: Predict Allen Hurns and Michael Gallup’s season

All entries will be tabulated so we can determine the BTB crowd-sourced consensus prediction. Then at the end of the season we can compare the predictions to actual results and crown the top BTB prognosticator.

Today we’re looking at two newcomers to the team’s receiving corps, free agent signee Allen Hurns and third-round draft pick Michael Gallup. Over the next seven weeks we’ll ask the BTB community to make their predictions on everything from how many touchdowns Cole Beasley will score to Dan Bailey’s accuracy. We’ll conclude with predictions for the team’s final record and NFC East standings.

I’ve already made my predictions and think both players will have relatively similar numbers:

Hurns: 80 targets / 58 receptions / 653 yards / 6 touchdown

Gallup: 75 targets / 52 receptions 645 yards / 5 touchdowns

For reference, here are their stats over the last few years:

Many of you have weighed in already on how you think Ezekiel Elliott will perform in 2018. The BTB consensus is Elliott will have over 400 touches, generate 2,200 yards and score more than 20 touchdowns? Is that too high? You still have time to voice your opinion and set the record straight. Just click the following link:
