We’re now close enough to the start of the season that we can start making some predictions about how the 2018 season will go for our Dallas Cowboys. Rather than asking you to make your predictions in the comments we’ll instead direct you to click the following form: Predict Cole Beasley and Terrance Williams season.
All entries will be tabulated so we can determine the BTB crowd-sourced consensus prediction. Then at the end of the season we can compare the predictions to actual results and crown the top BTB prognosticator.
Many of you have already weighed in on our previous polls. Do you agree with the BTB consensus that Ezekiel Elliott will top 2,200 yards from scrimmage? Or that Michael Gallup will score more than six touchdowns? Let your voice be heard and give us your thoughts on these previous polls:
Today we’re looking at two long-term wide receiving veterans, Cole Beasley and Terrance Williams. Both had disappointing seasons last year, with Beasley seeing his production fall precipitously from 2016 and Williams not scoring a single touchdown. How do you think they’ll fare this year?
Over the next seven weeks we’ll ask the BTB community to make their predictions on everything from how many sacks Demarcus Lawrence will record to Dan Bailey’s accuracy. We’ll conclude with predictions for the team’s final record and NFC East standings.
I’ve already made my predictions:
Beasley: 80 targets / 58 receptions / 584 yards / 6 touchdowns
Williams: 68 targets / 44 receptions / 522 yards / 3 touchdowns
For reference here are Beasley’s career numbers:
And Terrance Williams numbers:
