We’re getting closer and closer to Week 1’s date against the Carolina Panthers, time really is starting to fly.
An important detail has seemingly emerged about the season opener. The Panthers announced their jersey schedule for the season, and they’re wearing their all-white uniforms on September 9th. That means one thing, my friends.
The Dallas Cowboys have no other choice but to wear their navy road jerseys for their date in Carolina. What remains to be seen is whether they’ll rock the traditional silver pants with it or if they’ll go with the white pants that they experimented with in New York last season.

The last time Dallas visited Carolina they actually also wore the navy tops. Then-rookie Morris Claiborne recorded the first interception of his career that day, maybe Chidobe Awuzie will get his first while wearing the same number in navy during the opener.
Many people believe the Cowboys navy jerseys are cursed because, well, sports are weird. Last season’s Thanksgiving Day game against the Chargers may have corroborated that idea, but they did get the win on the road against the Giants with the blue tops.
Here’s to the blue jerseys.
