We’re now close enough to the start of the season that we can start making some predictions about how the 2018 season will go for our Dallas Cowboys. Rather than asking you to make your predictions in the comments we’ll instead direct you to click the following form: Predict Dan Bailey’s 2018 season.
All entries will be tabulated so we can determine the BTB crowd-sourced consensus prediction. Then at the end of the season we can compare the predictions to actual results and crown the top BTB prognosticator.
Bailey had a bit of a down 2017, with a career low in field goal conversions (75%), including only his second career miss from inside 30 yards. More shocking was the fact Bailey missed not one but two extra point attempts; the first misses of his career after converting 271 straight to start his career. Otherwise, Bailey has been nails pretty much his entire career.
Here are his career stats:

So, what do you think? Will Bailey get back to being among the best kickers in the NFL? Or was last year a harbinger of what’s to come for the longtime Cowboy?
There’s still time to weigh in on previous forecast posts. Do you agree with the BTB community on the following players:
- Ezekiel Elliott: BTB has enormous expectations for the third-year back, predicting Zeke will rush for more than 1,830 yards. Disagree? Make your thoughts known here.
- Allen Hurns and Michael Gallup will combine for almost 13 touchdown. Make your predictions here.
- Demarcus Lawrence will record thirteen sacks. Make your predictions here.
