Talking Cowboys, Jason Garrett, and 2018 training camp

Hooray.

NFL: Dallas Cowboys-Training Camp Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Football is in the air, it really is a glorious time of year. In fact we’ve got an actual NFL game this Thursday. My how the time flies.

Despite missing out on the playoff last season the Cowboys are always a subject of discussion in the NFL. There are a number of questions people have about the team including the potential fate of Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett.

ESPN Radio in Lexington reached out to BTB to gauge our thoughts on all matters America’s Team. Listen to what we had to say right here.

It really does feel like Jason Garrett’s team more than ever. There are names like Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott, but there isn’t anyone with legitimate tenure that outranks Garrett in terms of publicity so to speak. It presents a fascinating situation heading into the season.

While Jerry Jones did say that this wasn’t a “playoffs or bust” year for Garrett, there’s no denying that things would get quite contentious if the Cowboys don’t perform in 2018. It’s time to put up or, well, something else.
