Cowboys 2018 training camp: Randy Gregory made his debut in today’s practice

Highlights from the first practice to start the final week in Oxnard.

The Dallas Cowboys were back on the practice field to start their final week of practices in sunny California before heading back home to take on the Bengals. Technically, this is the 12th practice with practice #11 simply being a walkthrough.

First things first, the Cowboys will likely need to make some roster decisions soon:

Also, don’t expect to see Noah Brown work his way into the receiver battle until the team returns to Texas:

Cole Beasley is still nursing a sore groin, so he will remain sidelined too:

Not sure what is up with Kavon Frazier but we’ll keep an eye out for any news:

Some developments in the Randy Gregory “will he or won’t he practice saga”, it looks as though we’re one step closer:

It looks like Sean Lee finally talked the coaches into letting him get involved in practice:

It’s always a wise move to shower your offensive line with gifts as Dak Prescott has with these scooters:

Ezekiel Elliott didn’t seen any playing time in preseason game number one but does he really need it?

Will McClay decided to take a more “hands-on” approach and get himself a closer look at the defensive lineman:

Sean Lee was out there for drills, trying to build up to a heavier workload than he’s had so far:

Let’s get to the person everyone’s been waiting on and that’s Randy Gregory:

Of course, DeMarcus Lawrence only knows full speed ahead:

Coming off a game where the receivers put on a nice showing, Dak Prescott was out there slinging the rock:

Lance Lenoir schools Jourdan Lewis to come open downfield:

Michael Gallup was out there picking up where he left off, he’s certainly been one of the best parts of training camp:

During compete period, Dak is a little too high on this attempt to Ezekiel Elliott being covered by Leighton Vander Esch:

Nice moves by Tavon Austin to get away from Chidobe Awuzie:

Geoff Swaim shakes the coverage from Jeff Heath on a nice grab:

Oh snap! Sean Lee says put me in the team drills, coach:

Sean Lee met a very prepared Connor Williams:

Every time you want to forget about Terrance Williams, he does something like this:

Lance Lenoir again the benefit of a Prescott pass:

Lenoir almost had another circus catch but couldn’t hang on:

Tavon Austin with another catch here in solid coverage:

Those are some dangerous feet you got there, Tavon Austin:

Austin grabbed himself another catch just a few minutes later:

Allen Hurns on the slant is going to be a staple of this offense:

Just not a great throw for Cooper Rush, Leighton Vander Esch was ready for this interception:

Rookie Jordan Chunn getting a little action, look at Rico Gathers sealing off the block!

Jameill Showers giving the rookie a little tag on the end:

Dan Bailey missed one kick but he made up for the one with six makes:

An update on punter Chris Jones... yep, still wielding out the punt-ishment:

Kavon Frazier came back out to practice but was just observing with a wrap on his leg:

The defense was back to their old tricks in 7-on-7’s as Dak has nobody to throw to:

A few plays later, Dak has to throw this one away:

Finally, Prescott to his buddy Lance Lenoir for the TOUCHDOWN in red zone period!

Looks very similar to the catch Lenoir made for the score against the 49ers:

Terrance Williams brings one in as he’s being manhandled by Vander Esch:

Mike White with a nice connection in to Rico Gathers for the score in red zone 7-on-7:

Chaz Green did much better job in this rep against Taco Charlton than we’ve been seeing from him:

But this is Chaz Green we’re talking about, one step forward, one more step back:

Connor Williams makes quick work of Daniel Ross but Ross seems to have hurt himself on the rep:

Jourdan Lewis ends practice on a high note as he jumps the slant route and picks it off!

Practice always end with the receivers carrying the bricks!
