Here are the highlights from today’s practice in sunny California.

The Dallas Cowboys were back out on the Oxnard fields today to put in a little work at practice. It’s the Cowboys 14th practice but soon they will be packing up and headed back to the Star in Frisco.

Before we get into the highlights, the Cowboys did work out a handful of players today:

The Cowboys did sign a few guys today. First up, Jacob Alsadek, he is a UDFA guard from Arizona, who spent a little time with the Packers.

They also signed another wide receiver, Darren Carrington, he worked out for them today:

Also, just a quick congratulatory shout out to Alfred Morris, the former Cowboys running back signed with the 49ers. He deserves mention because he was just an all-around stand-up guy:

Randy Gregory, who made his way into team drills yesterday, finally broke his silence and got a chance to talk to the media, great stuff here:

In other defensive line news, one really important guy was activated off PUP today, that would be Maliek Collins!

If the D-Line is called the “Hot Boyz”, what’s a good nickname for these two?

We start off today’s drills with Ezekiel Elliott leading the way!

Rod Smith & Bo Scarbrough got in on the action..

Dak Prescott gets the ball to Rico Gathers in compete period:

That’s a hard move for Tyree Robinson to counter not to mention how huge Rico is:

Allen Hurns being covered by Chidobe Awuzie in compete drills:

A better look of the action between these two:

We have a Chris Covington sighting as he does battle with Jordan Chunn:

Nowhere to go for Ezekiel Elliott in team drills but whoever threw him to the ground should be arrested by Oxnard PD:

Zeke with a little payback, busting through the defense:

Rod Smith getting himself a piece of the defense, leaving little if any meat on the bone:

We had a scare for the G.O.A.T. Jeff Heath, hope he’s alright:

Dak trying to throw on the run but Jaylon Smith says nope!

More linebackers stepping up, of course it’s Sean Lee:

Jeff Heath Update:

Nice closing speed by Leighton Vander Esch to keep Rod Smith from doing much with this short pass:

Daily Dan Bailey update: He’s pretty good.

Zeke is out here running go routes?!

A little 7-on-7 red zone work:

Dak finds Hurns for the TOUCHDOWN!

Just a great route by Hurns to make himself the easy target:

Sorry Dalton Schultz but if Jaylon was allowed to, you’d be down.

Schultz was the beneficiary here on a nicely placed pass from Mike White:

On second-look, that’s a pretty big lapse in coverage for the DB’s to leave Schultz that wide open:

Zeke with the touchdown catch a few plays later:

Chaz Green is going to get the quarterback killed, he completely craters here against Dorance Armstrong:

Taco Charlton gives Cameron Fleming all he can handle:

Fleming got Taco back though:

Lewis Neal makes quick work of his man:

Back in team drills, Dak finds Michael Gallup!

Dorance Armstrong showing up again, batting the pass attempt from Dak:

Ezekiel Elliott putting the ball in the end zone...again.

The O-Line was fired up for that run by Zeke:

Randy Gregory getting some pressure on the quarterback in only his second practice:

Cooper Rush finds Mekale McKay in team drills:

Dalton Schultz bobbles it but he makes the catch!

Duke Thomas gets the stop on Rod Smith:

Dak Prescott connects with Michael Gallup again for a nice gain:

Dangerous throw by Dak but Leighton Vander Esch just barely misses the pick:

Chido levels Zeke in team drills, there will probably be an “Atta Boy” followed by a slow down kid.

Chido with the pass breakup, like his 1,000th in camp:

Jaylon Smith with the pass breakup on an intended pass to Elliott:

Geoff Swaim tries to keep this in but those feet don’t come down:

Dak connects with Allen Hurns again in the end zone:

Hurns secures it, raise the arms, that’s a TD, baby!!

On fourth down no less, what a nice play by Hurns:

That’s the best way to end the day on a high note for the offense. It seems like another receiver takes over every practice. Today, it was the Dak Prescott to Allen Hurns Show in full effect.

The Cowboys have a day off tomorrow but tune in to BTB for all Cowboys updates by the minute!
