Monday was quite busy for the Dallas Cowboys as they made a few roster moves involving injuries both old and new, plus a wide receiver swap.
According to reports Marcus Martin has officially been placed on injured reserve. This is in response to a torn ligament in his right big toe, and it’s unfortunate to see Martin’s season end.
The Cowboys addressed Martin’s injury with a roster move on Monday afternoon by bringing in Jacob Alsadek. They weren’t done for the day though as they swapped out wide receiver Marchie Murdock for former Utah wideout Darren Carrington. Murdock had been injured in San Francisco and was given the waived/injured designation.
Also of note, Maliek Collins passed his physical and is off of the PUP list!

Dallas has replaced both the offensive lineman and wide receiver that they lost with new ones and gotten one of their best defensive tackles back. It’s all in a day’s work for a Monday.
Carrington is no doubt a talented wide receiver, but the Cowboys have quite a crowded room there. He’s a body for the preseason at the very least, but this section of the roster is already looking to boot out guys. You can watch some of his highlights below.
