Cowboys 2018 training camp: Rico Gathers got a first-team rep in today’s practice

The Cowboys resume their training camp prep from their home facility at The Star.

The Cowboys returned to their home at The Star after spending the last month in Oxnard, California. It’s not an open practice without a little pomp and circumstance from owner Jerry Jones:

Probably not a bad idea to practice indoors when it’s over 100 degrees outside:

Before practice began, the Cowboys were looking at adding some safeties with Xavier Woods’ hamstring strain and Jameill Showers’ ACL injury:

The Cowboys were also looking for defensive tackle depth:

The Cowboys wasted no time in getting these guys on the practice field:

The team will likely sign a backup center tomorrow, someone has to play these games!

As the Cowboys let their two inside All-Pros get rest, that offensive line doesn’t look recognizable:

These next two weeks are going to be very valuable for guys like Mike White, will he do enough to convince the Cowboys to keep him?

It was a short practice today but that’s expected with so many guys on the mend. The Cowboys will practice again tomorrow before they take Wednesday off. A quick rundown:
