This day happened long ago, back on November 12th, 2017 to be clear.
Chaz Green’s time with the Dallas Cowboys ended before the team entered the locker room after a loss to the Atlanta Falcons last season. The Cowboys moved Chaz from swing tackle to guard back to tackle only for the experiment to fail, and now they have moved on officially.
Chaz Green, a third-round pick in 2015, is among the Cowboys’ cuts, according to sources. Green opened last season as the starter at left guard but was replaced by Jonathan Cooper after three games. He gave up four sacks in his lone start at left... https://t.co/uyWYVZ5tDs

You’d have been hard pressed to find someone who was counting on Chaz making this team ahead of the 2018 season. The Cowboys moving on from him is one of the most-agreed things concerning this team over the calendar year. That’s a rarity.
The cold reality of the NFL is that it’s a business and the Cowboys no longer have any business-related needs for Chaz. It’s a shame what became of a third-round pick entering just his fourth year, but such is life in professional sports.
Another unfortunate reality is how the world treats players who perform poorly like Chaz did. Shortly before news of his release broke a different report surfaced that Chaz had deleted social media. It had not been too kind to him over the last year.
Chaz Green deleted his social media accounts.

Fare thee well, Chaz. We wish you all the best.
