Cowboys vs. Giants injury report: Randy Gregory doesn’t practice, Datone Jones limited

The latest on injuries for the Dallas Cowboys.

The Dallas Cowboys continue preparations for a very important game in Week 2 of the 2018 NFL season. After losing in Week 1, the game against the New York Giants takes on added significance. As such, the injury report is a key piece of information. Here we have Thursday’s report.

Travis Frederick is not practicing and that’s no surprise. Xavier Woods also didn’t practice on Thursday and that surely means he is likely not going to be ready for this Sunday’s game. Fortunately, Kavon Frazier practiced in full and will be ready to go.

Defensive tackle Datone Jones makes a return to practice in a limited fashion, the first time he’s been able to go in a while. Depending on how looks tomorrow, maybe he’ll return to the active roster.

Both DeMarcus Lawrence and Dak Prescott are listed on the injury report but both practiced in full today and both should be jsut fine for Sunday.

Randy Gregory missed practice again today, so his availability for Sunday is in doubt even though there was optimism earlier in the week. Obviously tomorrow will be a big day for him.

Olivier Vernon didn’t practice for the Giants, it looking less likely that he will be ready for Sunday with his high-ankle sprain.
