Celebrate the Cowboys’ victory!!!
Fourth Quarter
The Giants get a garbage time touchdown on a busted coverage to make it 20-10 Cowboys. Then the Giants recovered an onside kick and GOT IT?! The kick a field goal to make it interesting 20-13 Cowboys. They try another onside kick and it’s out of bounds, so Cowboys kneel on this one. Cowboys 1-1...Giants 0-2!
Give it Ezekiel Elliott and let him do work. TOUCHDOWN! Cowboys 20 Giants 3

On the Cowboys next drive, the 214 connection is alive and well...This drive was 14 plays, 82 yards, and over 8 minutes long. Dak to Beasley...Dak takes it himself...Zeke Elliott is fed! Cowboys punch it in, they’re up on the Giants 20-3 in the fourth.

6 sacks.
— Mark Dempsey (@mkd1973) September 17, 2018
6 different cowboys.
Is that good?
I feel like that is good.
Nice work Rod Marinelli.@dallascowboys @UKCowboysFans
Giants facing 3rd and 9....we’ve seen this before...Tyrone Crawford SACKS Manning, it’s the sixth sack of the night.
Third Quarter
Bad Cowboys offense returns as La’el Collins and Geoff Swaim get back-to-back holding calls that wipe out huge gains. Giants get the ball back on the punt.
Facing a 3rd and Goal, Eli Manning decided to run...a very poor decision as he gets smacked hard by Jaylon Smith, Cowboys force the field goal, it’s good. Cowboys 13 Giants 3:

I don't know what's more terrifying: Tank's spin move to blow that play up, or the hit that Jaylon Smith just put on Eli Manning. Good lord.

Injury news: Giants center went down but also a cornerback is out for the game:
Giants CB Eli Apple has a groin injury and is out for the game.

Giants trainers seem to be preparing some sort of cast for Halapio. Cart is coming out as well. https://t.co/yZ5AOvfmQu

Giants go after Chidobe Awuzie and Cody Latimer hauls in a deep ball to get inside the Cowboys 30. Giants get the ball to Barkley and have a first and goal. Barkley is stopped for a six-yard loss but the Giants go back further with a hold.
Byron Jones is back up. He looks to be OK
— Jon Machota (@jonmachota) September 17, 2018
Byron Jones and Damien Wilson collide trying to pick off a pass. Jones went down hard:
Byron Jones is down.

Cowboys in the redzone after a nice catch by Deonte Thompson. Giants defense stops them on third down but Brett Maher is true again from 29-yards. Cowboys 13 Giants 0
Giants start from their own 30-yard line, Lawrence stuffs Barkley on the first carry of the second half. Sterling Shepard moves the chains for the Giants with a 14-yard catch. Eli Manning on second down...SACKED & STRIPPED by Damien Wilson. Taco Charlton recovers the FUMBLE!
HALFTIME
End of half.

Cowboys came out gunning, but then holstered both pistols. And here comes the all-important third quarter.
Fix it.
Cowboys defense observations:
— John Owning (@JohnOwning) September 17, 2018
Chidobe Awuzie, Byron Jones and Anthony Brown balled in the first half.
Blitzes and twists are doing a good job of applying pressure on Eli.
Need to tackle better.
Second Quarter
Inside the two-minute warning, Jeff Heath misses a tackle on Saquon Barkley, Giants get the first. On first down, DeMarcus Lawrence SACKS Eli Manning, it’s the fourth sack in the first half for the Cowboys defense. Giants can’t complete a 3rd and 14 and are forced to punt again. Cowboys kneel this one and we go to the half...10-0 Cowboys.
Cowboys offense has just 45 yards in three possessions after jumping out to 10-0 lead.
— David Moore (@DavidMooreDMN) September 17, 2018
Cowboys next drive starts dicey with a false start by Tyron Smith but they recovered nicely. The Giants defense tightens up once more and the Cowboys miss an opportunity to put the pedal down. Giants will get the ball with a chance before the half.
Kavon Frazier takes down Manning on a safety blitz to force a 2nd and 22. After a catch and run by Engram, it’s 3rd and 8. Manning misses his man and the Giants are forced to punt.
Jeff Heath stops the third down pass to Evan Engram short of the sticks but that sneaky Manning gets the first on another sneak on fourth down.
Eli Manning sneaks the ball on 4th and 1 to pick up the first down but is SACKED again on first down by Antwaun Woods.
Giants next drive...3rd and 9...Taco Charlton SACKS Eli Manning, Giants punt on 4th and 22. Cowboys get stalled on 3rd and 7 when La’el Collins misses a blitzing Lorenzo Carter. Cowboys punt.
First Quarter
Third possession, same verse as the first. Zeke looks dead to rights on 2nd and 5 but somehow gains a couple, Dak keeps it on 3rd and two for the conversion. Dak tosses two deep balls in a row but neither Thompson or Michael Gallup can haul them in. First punt for the Cowboys.
Giants RB Saquon Barkley gets stuffed twice behind the line thanks to Jaylon Smith. Giants can’t convert a 3rd and long, New York punts it back to Dallas. Cowboys start at their own 20-yard line.
So far, they look like a completely different offense, our Tom Ryle agrees:
First down passes, deep ball, Zeke for 20, Tavon on jet sweep - so how bad is Linehan's play calling now?
— Regular Season Tom (@TomRyleBTB) September 17, 2018
As well as they were moving the ball, the Giants tightened up, Cowboys fail to convert 3rd and 7, their only third down on the drive. Brett Maher is true! Cowboys 10, Giants 0
Second possession: Cowboys moving the ball with a 10-yard pass to Deonte Thompson then Ezekiel Elliott busts the defense wide open with a nice run. Next play, Dak tosses it to Zeke who tosses it to Tavon Austin for another big gain. Prescott with the keeper and we’re inside the Giants 30 in matter of seconds!
Cowboys stop the Giants on 3rd and 5 and are forced to punt it back to Dallas, Cole Beasley fair catches at the 15-yard line.
Everyone wondered where Tavon Austin was last week. This week is different:

— Blogging The Boys (@BloggingTheBoys) September 17, 2018
Dak to Allen Hurns for a nine-yard slant on first down then Ezekiel Elliott gets the first down with a one-yard gain...a few plays later BOOM! Tavon Austin with the deep grab for the TOUCHDOWN! Cowboys 7, Giants 0
The Giants won the toss and deferred, so the Cowboys will start with the ball at the 25-yard line.
