It seems to be happening.

Over the weekend word broke that the Cowboys were looking into bringing back a wide receiver that they moved on from this past offseason. No, not that one, but this one... Brice Butler.

As today is officially the first day of Week 3 if a move was going to be made it would make sense that it would come on now. As fate would have it, a report surfaced that Butler will sign with the Cowboys on Tuesday.

This report dropped while Jerry Jones was making his weekly appearance on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas and as you can imagine he was asked about it.

Jerry Jones did confirm that Brice Butler was in Dallas, but he only left it at that and noted that nothing is official as of now.

It sure does seem like things are heading in a favorable direction for Brice Butler and the Cowboys. We’ll keep you updated here at BTB as more information becomes available if/when he officially signs.

UPDATE 10:40am ET

Brice has posted on his social media accounts that he is officially back with the Cowboys.
