It’s a weekly ritual, the injury report. As we head into the season-opener for the Cowboys, the first injury report of the 2018 season for Dallas is out, and a name we didn’t expect has shown up.

There were three Cowboys that we expected to see in Travis Frederick, Datone Jones and Xavier Woods. Indeed, all three were non-participants in today’s practice and they are all likely to be non-participants in the game.
Kavon Frazier shows up as limited, but that should be expected as he hurt his shoulder in the preseason and is working his way back in, but all signs are that he will play. New guy Parker Ehinger, the guard obtained in the Charvarius Ward trade, was limited with a knee.
The surprise name is starting corner Chidobe Awuzie who was limited in practice with a back injury. Early in the week, it’s not uncommon for guys to be limited if they are experiencing some discomfort. It’s worth keeping an eye on and we’ll see how he does tomorrow.
On the Panthers side, starting linemen Daryl Williams and Amini Silatolu were both limited. We probably won’t know their status until much closer to game time.
