Dez Bryant says Cowboys would have won Sunday had they had him and Dan Bailey

Is that true?

NFL: Seattle Seahawks at Dallas Cowboys Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

The Dallas Cowboys lost, and lost in embarrassing fashion during their season-opener at Carolina. They couldn’t do anything offensively, and they had people missing the high-scoring offenses of old.

When considering previous offenses did you think about you-know-who? No, not Dan Bailey, even though Brett Maher missed his first career kick with the Cowboys. Also not talking about Tony Romo, who oversaw the New England Patriots defeat of the Houston Texans. I’m talking about Dez Bryant, could the Cowboys have used him on Sunday? Dez thinks so.

It’s hard to say whether or not the two DBs would have given the Cowboys at least nine more points (they lost 16-8). Offensively the Cowboys currently (we’re only one game in to be fair) have no identity. None. They are absent of any sort of creativity whatsoever. It’s hard to imagine anyone changing that at this point.

This is going to be a long week.
