Despite the fact that he plays quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, Dak Prescott doesn’t do a whole lot of public interviews.
We get to hear from Jerry Jones, Stephen Jones, and Jason Garrett all the time, but other than normal practice routines, words from Dak Prescott are a bit rare.
Considering it’s the week leading up to the Super Bowl, Dak did some talking out on Radio Row in Atlanta and did some of it with 105.3 The Fan. The hottest subject these days when it comes to America’s Team is the apparent soon-to-be offensive coordinator Kellen Moore. This subject is a bit of a divider with Cowboys fans as there are some who want to see what Moore can bring and some who feel they know that it’s not much. For what it’s worth, Dak really likes Moore.
Dak on @1053thefan describing OC candidate Kellen Moore: “He’s honestly one of these young genius phenoms in the game. ... He’s special. He knows a lot about the game, just the way he sees the game, the way he’s ahead of the game. He can bring a lot to us, a lot of creativity."

Everyone across the NFL is trying to find the new version of Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay. Young and bright offensive minds are all the rage and it seems like the Cowboys really do feel like they’re close to that with what they’ve got in Moore. That’s not totally far-fetched.
Moore has always been regarded for his supreme football intellect so maybe the opportunity for that to shine really is what the Cowboys need. Since Dak Prescott is the quarterback of the team, what he likes is of high value, and if that’s Kellen Moore, then that means a lot.
Dak also discussed Amari Cooper landing with the team and a bit of what exactly changed. According to him there was a bit uncertainty pre-Amari because the Cowboys kept shuffling receivers in and out at different spots.
Amari Cooper was obviously a big part of Dak Prescott’s second half surge. But Dak also just said on @1053thefan that he also felt far more comfortable after the Cowboys tightened their WR rotation. #cowboyswire pic.twitter.com/5MXSNM2g9h

Who knew that consistency was important?
