The Cowboys have made it a bit of a habit to shock the world this season.
There was winning five games in a row that all looked like sure losses. There was taking down the New Orleans Saints who were the hottest team in football at the time. Obviously there was winning in the playoffs after nobody gave them a chance. It feels good.
Dallas is being doubted in the playoffs once again this time by professional oddsmakers. Our friends over at OddsShark have the Cowboys listed as seven-point underdogs and have set the over/under for the game at 49. Remember that the Los Angeles Rams once broke 50 in just a single game earlier this season. That’s the Hot Boyz effect.
The Cowboys are 9-7-1 against the spread as far as what OddsShark has tracked this season so that isn’t really a large indicator of what’s going to happen. Los Angeles is one of the better teams in the league and was crowned winners of the Super Bowl before the season ever began, it makes sense that they would be favored.
What do you make of seven whole points being given to the Rams? Is it fair? Not fair? If there’s one thing for certain it’s that it doesn’t matter to the Cowboys and that’s what counts.
