It’s here... welcome to Eagles week.
The Dallas Cowboys host the Philadelphia Eagles this week, the final game before their bye, and they’ll do so in front of the entire world. NFL schedule-makers determined long ago that this particular contest should be reserved for the biggest stage and it will be played on NBC’s Sunday Night Football.
That makes things all the more interesting/terrifying for both teams. Dallas and Philadelphia are each coming off of losses that put them at 3-3 through the season’s first six weeks, whoever comes out of this game with a win is going to have a serious leg up in the NFC East race while the loser will have to give themselves a long and hard look in the mirror.
it’s unknown exactly who will be on hand to help Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott get the Cowboys back in their winning ways. Tyron Smith, La’el Collins, Randall Cobb, and Amari Cooper are all players that have injury statuses up in the air (just to name a few), but the Eagles aren’t exactly a beacon of health. Carson Wentz has played well this season in spite of what’s around him, but Philly could get DeSean Jackson back and you know how he likes to play against NFC East teams.
This is going to be quite the showdown at AT&T Stadium on Sunday night and we’re going to have everything that you need for it all across BTB. Let’s have some fun.
