For the first time this season, the Dallas Cowboys will be trying to rebound from a loss. They bring a 3-1 record to Week 5, but so do their opponents, the Green Bay Packers. A historic rivalry has a whole lot of importance riding on it for both teams.
Dallas lost in New Orleans last week while the Packers fell at home to the Philadelphia Eagles. Both Jason Garrett and Matt LaFleur will be looking to right the ships they steer, and if history between the teams is any indicator, it’ll likely go down to the while.
Dak Prescott played well against the Saints, but Ezekiel Elliott and Amari Cooper didn’t exactly pop in the box score. The Cowboys will need to get a lot out of them in addition to the likes of DeMarcus Lawrence, Jaylon Smith, Leighton Vander Esch, and Robert Quinn if they want to stop the mighty force that Aaron Rodgers represents.
Of course, Rodgers could very well be without his top weapon in wide receiver Davante Adams who hurt his toe last week. Nevertheless, he’s one of the best quarterbacks in the game which is going to make this matchup very difficult.
