The trade deadline is coming down to the wire for all 32 NFL teams.
Up until 4:00 pm eastern standard time today, teams can make trades for players and draft picks, but once the clock strikes 4:00 pm, those deals can no longer be made. Jerry Jones was on with 105.3 The Fan today and said the Cowboys had “consideration in the mill” regarding the Cowboys making another move before the deadline ends.
Trade deadline is today at 4 p.m. ET. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on @1053thefan: "We're always looking. That's plenty of time. Let's say we have consideration in the mill. We're giving it thought. ... To that end, anything is possible."— Michael Gehlken (@GehlkenNFL) October 29, 2019
The Cowboys made a somewhat surprising move last week when trading for defensive lineman Michael Bennett from the Patriots in exchange for a 2021 late-round draft pick. There have been rumors of the Cowboys looking to add talent at the safety position and possibly even some more beef along the interior of the defensive line.
While nothing seems imminent, Jerry’s comments sure made it seem like the Cowboys are considering making a strong push to add another player before the clock strikes 4:00 pm. Who, or what position, would you like to see them add?
