The Dallas Cowboys are finally back from their bye and they return to action under the bright lights of Monday Night Football against the New York Giants.
Of course, the last time that Dallas was on MNF was when they returned from bye last year. Things were very different then as it was Amari Cooper’s debut with the team and now-tight end Jason Witten was up in the broadcast booth. This time around he’ll be on the field with the likes of Cooper, Dak Prescott, and Ezekiel Elliott.
The Cowboys have a new defensive player making his debut on Monday night, recently acquired defensive lineman Michael Bennett. He’ll join DeMarcus Lawrence, Robert Quinn, Leighton Vander Esch, and Jaylon Smith in trying to slow down Daniel Jones, Saquon Barkley and Evan Engram.
Dallas is 4-3 and looking to get two games above .500 with a tough November coming up. The Giants aren’t too intimidating, but this game can hardly be overlooked as the last time the Cowboys were in MetLife Stadium they experienced disaster with their loss to the New York Jets.
