Every Wednesday of game week brings the first injury report, and it’s pretty much as expected for the Cowboys. Offensive tackles Tyron Smith and La’el Collins were both out of practice toady. They were joined by Leighton Vander Esch who was rumored to have a knee issue but was held out mainly because of illness. There is a general expectation that Vander Esch will be fine to go this weekend versus the Jets.
Amari Cooper is battling multiple injuries and was limited. Others in that same limited category include Zack Martin (back), Tyrone Crawford (hip), and Antwaun Woods (knee).
The Cowboys got some good news as running back Tony Pollard was a full participant despite having both knee and ankle issues. Earlier today Jason Garrett thought he might be limited, Others who show up on the injury report but were full participants include Tavon Austin, Randall Cobb, Michael Gallup, and Sean Lee.
Cowboys confirm it’s an illness for LVE. He should be alright.
