The Dallas Cowboys and their fanbase can’t wait to put the Vikings game in the rear-view mirror. That frustrating loss has further hampered the Cowboys path to the playoffs and a win this week is desperately needed. Fortunately, they get a wounded Detroit Lions team that will more than likely be without their franchise QB, Matthew Stafford.
The Cowboys offense ranks high in almost every category, but it usually takes them a while to get warmed up. This has left the Cowboys fighting uphill in a lot of games and sometimes they just run out of time. This week, all eyes will be watching Dak Prescott and Co. to see if they can jump out front in the game and not leave the outcome in doubt.
A solid effort from the Cowboys defense would also help the case. The Dallas defense is surely smarting after getting run over by Dalvin Cook last week. They will want to get after an inexperienced quarterback for the Lions and take advantage of an undermanned unit.
