It’s Tuesday which means there isn’t a single injury report out for the current Cowboys week, but that also means that Jerry Jones spoke to the world and often times that’s far more informative.

The Cowboys are coming off of their sixth win of the season, a nice offensive showing in Detroit, but they didn’t escape without any sort of losses. There are injuries to every NFL team at this point of the year and the Cowboys have a handful. Notable names include Amari Cooper, La’el Collins, and DeMarcus Lawrence.

If you’re worried about the status of those players, let Jerry calm you down. Appearing on The Shan & RJ Show on 105.3 The Fan, Jerry Jones was asked about Cooper, Collins, and Lawrence and noted that those Cowboys playmakers are expected to play on Sunday.

“All of those guys you just mentioned, we need to watch them this week a little bit, but should be available for us in a real effective way. So I feel good about those guys, especially Tank, especially Collins. But we’ll watch how it works this week. But if they go as our trainers and people feel like they can go and we think then we’ll have them available for us. Right now knock on wood our availability of our talent is one of the plus things for us this year.”

Of course, the Cowboys do have injury news of the negative variety. Cornerback Anthony Brown will miss the remainder of the season. He’ll be a free agent in the offseason so that’s something that will obviously play a factor. All the best to him.
