It’s here. The big enchilada.
Due to the NFL’s rotating schedule it’s been known that the Dallas Cowboys will visit the New England Patriots during the 2019 season. When the schedule came out people circled November 24th on their calendars, you don’t see this matchup all too often.
There’s no denying that the Patriots are the gold standard in the NFL. Led by Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, the franchise has won six Super Bowls in the past 18 seasons, and if they have anything to say about it they’ll earn an NFL-record number seven in February of 2020. Playing against this team is always a good measuring stick, and it’s a tall task.
This means that the Dallas Cowboys have their work cut out for them on Sunday. They’ve got one of the NFL’s best quarterbacks in Dak Prescott at their side and with Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, Randall Cobb, and oh yea, Ezekiel Elliott next to him, they stand a fighting chance.
New England has one of the better defenses in the NFL, but the Cowboys defense will work to play well against Brady. This is quite the challenge for the likes of DeMarcus Lawrence, Robert Quinn, Jaylon Smith, Leighton Vander Esch, and friends.
It’s fitting that this contest directly precedes Thanksgiving week. The whole world will be talking about it, so will all of your family on Turkey Day, here’s hoping they’re talking kindly about the Cowboys.
