It’s finally here. Welcome to the biggest game of the season. Today is going to serve as a huge measuring stick for the Dallas Cowboys considering the quality of their opponent. The Cowboys are on the road taking on the New England Patriots, and in addition to being the reigning Super Bowl Champions the Patriots have been the NFL’s gold standard for the majority of this millennium.
It won’t be easy for the Cowboys to get their first win over New England since 1996, especially considering who they’ll be operating without. The inactives are official and as you know Leighton Vander Esch is among them. Here’s the whole list.
Inactive today for Cowboys vs. Patriots: LB Leighton Vander Esch (neck), S Donovan Wilson (illness) DT Trysten Hill, WR Devin Smith, WR Cedrick Wilson, DE Joe Jackson and RT Brandon Knight. pic.twitter.com/cWPRCkvX0l

McCourty had a hamstring injury, and his absence thrusts J.C. Jackson into the top spot. Also, rookie CB Joejuan Williams is active.

The Patriots will be without two of their top wide receivers, but they still have Tom Brady, Julian Edelman, and are the Patriots. We’ll see how these losses influence the game.
