It’s a short week for the Dallas Cowboys as they entertain the Buffalo Bills on Thanksgiving Day. Fortunately for Dallas, their injury report isn’t very long as they appear relatively healthy for this time of the year.
Leighton Vander Esch is still not practicing with his neck injury and won’t suit up for the game on Thursday. Defensive tackle Antwaun Woods has also been ruled out with an MCL injury. He picked up the injury in the Patriots game and will be replaced in the starting lineup by Christian Covington. This may be an opportunity for the forgotten Trysten Hill to see some action even though he doesn’t play directly behind Woods; he could be called on for rotational purposes.
The Cowboys had four players who were limited in practice today. Three of them are offensive linemen as La’el Collins and Zack Martin continue to manage nagging injuries. Connor Williams, who played last week after recently having arthroscopic knee surgery, is also listed as limited.
Safety Jeff Heath was limited after aggravating his shoulder injury in the game against the Patriots.
