We are officially only one day away from the next Dallas Cowboys game, short weeks have that sort of effect! Jason Garrett met with the media for the last time ahead of the Buffalo Bills game on Wednesday. Here’s a recap of what he said.

(All quotes are paraphrased and not direct quotes).

Welcome to Friday/Saturday

Today is a Friday and Saturday mashed together for the Cowboys, given the short week, and they’re doing what they can to get ready to play on Thanksgiving. Short weeks are rough.

Jeff Heath is day by day

There aren’t exactly a lot of days left. We’ll see if he plays.

Hopefully La’el Collins can go on Thursday

Jason Garrett reiterated that Wednesday was a walkthrough practice and that La’el has looked alright, he added that they’re hopeful he can play against Buffalo.

Jourdan Lewis

Jason Garrett discussed how Jourdan Lewis has been a player who has made some plays for them in the past. He noted that Jourdan has gotten more opportunities with Anthony Brown being hurt and that they’re hopeful he’s able to make an impact this week.

Trysten Hill is expected to do his job

The Cowboys will be activating rookie Trysten Hill against the Bills and Jason Garrett noted that they’re expecting him to do his job. Asked if he’s still primarily a three-technique Garrett said that Hill is capable of doing anything they want but that he’s still an inside defensive tackle. Alright then.
