The Dallas Cowboys lost badly to the Buffalo Bills on Thanksgiving Day. This is a Dallas team that many people thought very highly of entering the season. It’s a group that plenty thought could challenge for the Super Bowl. With a 6-6 record through Thanksgiving Day, it’s universally accepted that they aren’t living up to any of those expectations.
Of course the latest point of frustration for the Cowboys came on Thanksgiving Day when they lost at home to the Buffalo Bills (their second loss in a row). Upon entering the locker room right afterwards reports started to swirl that a Cowboys player could be heard screaming from within the locker room. The Athletic’s Jon Machota captured video of it.

Obviously people wanted to know who the voice was and many people began speculating as to who the player in question could be. It took a bit of time but the mystery man was identified. The Dallas Morning News reported the voice as that of Michael Bennett.
Cowboys DE Michael Bennett was the shouting voice inside locker room that reporters could hear from outside it. His message was well received, but it’s time for action now. Story to come.

Michael Bennett has won a Super Bowl and was recently on the New England Patriots so it’s safe to say that his expectations are a bit higher than what he is experiencing with the Dallas Cowboys. Since joining America’s Team, Michael Bennett has experienced three wins and three losses this season.
As far as what was said by Bennett, we’ll likely never know. Randall Cobb did offer up just a little bit on the exchange. Dak Prescott also offered up some information on it.

Dak Prescott on Michael Bennett’s message while shouting in the postgame locker room: “Just an exchange of words about us sticking together. Anything and everything outside that locker room doesn’t matter. Simple as that.” https://t.co/yFfwLdX0Av

Bennett also led the Cowboys pre-game huddle before the game against the Detroit Lions so this isn’t the first time that he’s used a loud voice to carry a point. Whether the message will be fully received by his teammates remains to be seen, but at least he’s demanding accountability from the Cowboys.
Thankfully somebody is.
