The Dallas Cowboys will visit the New York Giants tonight, their first game off of their bye week. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen the Cowboys play so needless to say excitement is high.

While there are a number of players who can serve as a potential x-factor in this division rivalry, it’s important that we don’t forget someone who has made it a bit of a habit to dominate against the Giants - Blake Jarwin.

Jarwin has only played against the Giants three times on his young career, but for the most part they’ve been memorable occasions. He had a great showing last time Dallas played New York, and he was particularly dominant last time the Cowboys played the Giants at MetLife Stadium.

When the Cowboys last played the Giants at MetLife (we don’t need to focus on the last time they were at the stadium in general), Blake Jarwin really announced himself to the world. He had a hat trick’s worth of touchdowns, something that no tight end had ever done in Dallas Cowboys franchise history.

Of course the Cowboys have one of the greatest tight ends to ever play for their team in franchise history on their team tonight. Jason Witten was absent last season when Dallas visited New York, but he’ll be present and accounted for when things get going tonight on Monday Night Football.

Jarwin also scored the season’s first touchdown when he got into the endzone in the current team’s Week 1 game against the Giants at AT&T Stadium. He’s making a living at Giants fans’ expense, here’s hoping that tradition continues tonight.
