Dak Prescott has been very successful against the NFC East since entering the league in 2016. Prescott has played in 21 games against division foes, winning 76% of the time in such games.
a fun storyline that I really, really like is when fans of NFC East rivals beg the Cowboys to pay Dak, suggesting that they don’t think he’s good enough to beat them.

tonight, Dak improves to 16-5 againat his NFC East rivals.
Breaking it down, here is Dak’s record against each team in the division, winning the last five versus the Giants, losing only once in three-and-half seasons to Washington, and leading Dallas to at least 27 points in each of the Cowboys’ last three wins over the Eagles.
- 6-1 vs. Washington
- 5-2 vs. New York
- 5-2 vs. Philadelphia
Wins are not necessarily a quarterback-centered statistic, but Prescott has had quite the success against the division, particularly against the Giants from the Empire State. In three of the Cowboys’ last four games versus New York, Prescott has thrown for at least 300 yards and three touchdowns.
- 332 yards and three touchdowns in a 30-10 win back in week 13 of 2017
- 387 yards and four touchdowns in a dramatic 36-35 win in week 17 of 2018
- 405 yards and four touchdowns in a dominant 35-17 victory in week 1 of this season
The Cowboys have played the Giants twice since acquiring Amari Cooper prior to last year’s deadline; Cooper has recorded 11 catches for 137 yards and a score. Dak will likely be looking for his top target early and often tonight.
Prescott will get another chance to put on a show versus the Giants, this time on the stage of Monday Night Football in primetime. What does the Cowboys quarterback have in store this time around?
