The Dallas Cowboys convened today for a semi-practice, just jerseys and jog-speed with no contact, as they prepare to welcome the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night.

Dallas was without one player, Cameron Fleming, who has still been unable to practice with a calf injury.

They had seven other players limited, some of them just for precautionary reasons. Offensive linemen Tyron Smith, La’el Collins and Zack Martin were limited, and this seems like standard procedure now as the veterans continue to nurse various injuries but have been able to play the last couple of games.

Wide receiver Amari Cooper was back to being limited as he was banged up in the Giants game although he was able to finish that contest. He is listed as having knee and ankle issues.

Linebackers Leighton Vander Esch and Sean Lee were both limited. Vander Esch has been battling a neck injury for weeks now, but Lee picked up a pectoral injury in the Giants game.

Jeff Heath was unable to finish the Giants game after picking up a laceration on his knee that required 12 stitches. Earlier in the week Jason Garrett thought that Heath would be okay.

The big injury for the Vikings is the hamstring of wide receiver Adam Thielen; reports have already been circulating that he is unlikely to play. He did not participate in today’s practice.
