It’s been a busy week for the Blogging The Boys podcast feed, so busy that we’ve had multiple former Dallas Cowboys stop by!

Roger Staubach joined The Ocho to discuss all of the great work he’s doing with veterans, and thankfully he’s not the only America’s Team alumni who’s doing so. Cowboys Ring of Honor Member Darren Woodson is doing outstanding work for veterans with Crown Royal and told us all about it on the latest episode of The Ocho. You can listen right here.

Woody is still somewhat fresh off of leaving ESPN where he served as an NFL analyst. He has a lot of projects going on in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and this latest partnership with Crown Royal (The Crown Royal Purple Bag Project) is one of them.

If you’re going to this Sunday’s Cowboys game you can head over to Gate A from 4-7 pm CT to put together a Crown Royal Purple Bag with care items for veterans and active duty members overseas. This is such a great thing to do all the time, and Monday being Veterans Day has highlighted how important these causes are.

You can hear Woody talk all about this project plus his thoughts on the 2019 Dallas Cowboys. He also clarifies some comments that he made last season about Dak Prescott’s leadership compared to Tony Romo’s, and he makes it very clear that he’s a huge fan of them both.

Special thanks to Crown Royal and Darren Woodson for making this possible.
