Losing is never fun and losing three games in a row is extra not fun. Things are not going well for the Dallas Cowboys these days and they are in sore need of a victory.
Their next opportunity at earning one will come this Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams. Dallas and Los Angeles met in the Divisional Round of last season’s playoffs, a game that the Rams ultimately won before going on to appear (and lose in) the Super Bowl.
It’s safe to say that Jason Garrett wants revenge, but at this point he just wants job security. The Cowboys head coach is seemingly on the thinnest of ice and the likes of Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, Amari Cooper, DeMarcus Lawrence, Jaylon Smith, and the rest of the team are going to have to do what they can to keep him around as Dallas is still in pole position to win the NFC East.
Los Angeles is not in first as they’ve seen two of their division rivals already hit 10 wins on the season in the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks. The Rams will need Jared Goff and Todd Gurley to continue their offensive form that they’ve put on lately and of course will be looking for Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey to keep the Cowboys offense limited. Needless to say, it’s going to be fun.
